SPOTTERS GLASS CROWN POLARISED

Spotters source only the finest materials available from around the world. Crown glass has a low refractive index and dispersion providing the eyes with distortion free precise and constant optics. Crown Glass Lenses are more heat reisistant than your average glass lens, making them less prone to thermal expansion. Other Benefits of Crown Glass are that if it is to fracture, its more inclind to fracture onto large pieces rather than small pieces, making one of the safer Glass Lenses to wear. To further improve impact resistance Spotters Crown Glass is hardened offering the wearer further protection, and is one of the best Scratch resistant Lenses avaialble... but remember, nothing is "scratch proof". Polarising layers in the lenses which are assembled perfectly on axis with precise precision by Spotters optical mechanics gives true full polarisation, eradicating severe hindering bounce back glare.

 

Penetrator Polarised Photosensitive Crown Glass Lenses

A superior high contrast copper lens that filters out majority of damaging short light waves of blue light, which are responsible or some headaches and eye fatigue. Embedded light sensitive Silver Halide undertakes seamless colour transition from light to dark depending on the level of light you are in. All Spotters Mirrored Crown Glass Lenses are comprised of Superior Crown Glass. The mirrored layer in the lens is protected between two layers of the unrivalled light weight Crown Glass which makes the mirror impossible to scratch off. The Mirrored lenses sheild your eyes by not letting the suns high temperatures and glare to fully penetrate into your eyes by deflecting the boucne back glare. Xtreme Photosensitive Yellow Crown Glass Lenses

Photosensitive yellow crown glass which darkens and lightens as dawn transforms to dusk and vice versa. Spotters Xtreme lens is perfect for when you can’t distinguish objects in low light conditions and general purpose coloured sunglasses are too dark. Xtreme Crown glass is an extreme low light specialist highlighting shadows allowing for clearer sharper vision. Stone Neutral Grey Tint Polarised Crown Glass Lenses

SPOTTERS COLUMBIA RESIN POLARISED

Columbia resin aka CR39 is a plastic polymer not to be confused with polycarbonate, a homopolymer. It has the highest abrasion/scratch resistance of any uncoated optical plastic. CR39 is also resistant to most of solvents and other chemicals, gamma radiation, ageing, and material fatigue, making it a perfect choice for long term optical clarity. 

CRC Copper Columbia Resin

High contrast copper tint prevents the majority of harmful and irritating short blue light waves from entering the retina leaving the wearer with absolute eye comfort. CRB Brown Columbia Resin

The majority of coloured light which irritates the eye comes from the short blue light wave which peaks in front of the retina. FRAMES 

Amour -Amour is an amorphous thermoplastic with exceptionally high flexural fatigue strength. An extremely light, shape retaining polymer, Spotters Armour is injection moulded into the architecture of our frames, creating comfort for the wearer, and suiting all sport, leisure and general activities.

Cellutate- Extracted from pulp fibres, cellutate is a beautiful organic compound characterised by an amazingly soft texture and depth of colour. After a 3-day tumbling process, the frames are hand moulded from narrow sheets of cellutate, and hand ground and polished providing a strong, flexible finish.

Beta Totanium- In the past, Beta Titanium has been used to construct space capsules, and re-construct broken bones. Spotters Beta Titanium is amazingly light weight and corrosion free, with an impressive strength to weight ratio. Suffer from skin irritations? Spotters Beta Titanium is Hypoallergenic and the only Titanium currently Nickel free.

Synthamide- A light weight, synthetic polymer, Spotters Synthamide offers thermal stability, rigidity and high mechanical strength in a smooth and flexible finish.

Monel- Monels' superior ability to withstand extreme heat allowed it to be used by the US military to construct X-15 Rocket Planes in the 1960's. Fast forward 50 years, and Spotters Monel frames use this incredible material to provide advanced strength, durability and corrosion resistance in a metal fashion frame.

General Warranty Information

Spotters Sunglasses are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for 12 months from date of purchase. Your warranty is only valid with a proof of purchase from an authorised Spotters dealer. Your warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratched or broken lenses, lost screws, fading or peeling of frames, or nose piece and frame deterioration. Any alterations to the sunglasses will void your warranty. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace, in part or in full, sunglasses returned for warranty or repair. Warranty claims and other repairs are at the complete discretion of the manufacturer.

Additional Penetrator Warranty Information
For sunglasses fitted with the Penetrator Lens only. The Spotters Penetrator is a polarised photochromic bronze glass lens. The Penetrator’s Photochromic molecules are embedded within a layer of distortion free, scratch resistant glass. As a result, we guarantee the photochromic properties of the Penetrator lens will last the life of your sunglasses. What does this mean? We guarantee that your Penetrator lenses will continue to automatically adjust to prevailing light conditions for as long as you can still wear your sunglasses. Please note this warranty applies only to the photochromic properties of the lens, and does not cover scratched, broken or lost lenses. The sunglasses must have been looked after in accordance with Spotters Care Instructions. If the photochromic properties of your Penetrator lenses cease to function, we will replace your lenses free of charge. The manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace, in part or in full, sunglasses returned for warranty or repair. Warranty claims and other repairs are at the complete discretion of the manufacturer.

How to make a warranty claim or have your sunglasses repaired:

• Fill in the Warranty/repair card included with your sunglasses with your name and contact details.
• Package your sunglasses (inside their protective case) in a sturdy box with padding.
• Please include stamps or a postal money order to the value of $5 for return freight. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the sunglass owner
