SUNGLASSES CARE GUIDE

We suggest regular maintenance to ensure lenses and temples remain secure. We would be happy to make any adjustments that are necessary, but in order to optimise the fit, we strongly recommend that you visit a local sunglass shop, optician or eye care professional. This service is generally free of charge at any of these outlets.

Problems arising from lack of maintenance may result in lens or frame damage and this may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Caring for your sunglasses

  1. Wash dust, and grit from your lenses under cold running water, dry with a soft cloth. (Do not clean with a tissue).
  2. Allowing salt water to dry on your sunglasses can cause corrosion to metal parts and may scratch your lenses if wiped with a dry cloth.
  3. Heavily soiled sunglasses require warm soapy water, a clean rinse, excess water shaken off and a polish with a soft cloth.
  4. Temperatures of up to 60 degrees can be reached inside cars, therefore do not leave your sunglasses on the dashboard or console as distortion/damage may occur to frames and lenses.
  5. To avoid hinge and screw damage, remember to remove sunglasses from your face with both hands.
  6. Remember to store your sunglasses in their protective case or pouch, not face down on any surface or loose in your pocket or purse where objects may damage lenses.
