LENSES
All Miu Miu sunglasses contain a CR39 lens. Known as ‘hard resin’ or ‘organic glass’ the CR39 lens offers a valid and highly efficient alternative to glass. The CR39 lens is 100% UV protection, high impact resistant and more scratch-resistant than other plastic lenses. The CR39 lens in Miu Miu sunglasses are lightweight and assure minimum chromatic aberration.Â
All Miu Miu sunglasses comply with the Australian Sunglass Standards AS/NZS 1067:2003 so you can rest assured that your eyes are protected.
LENS CATEGORIES
Category 0 -Â These lenses are classed as fashion spectacles and not sunglasses. They provide limited or no UV protection.
Category 1 -Â These are not classed as sunglasses. They do provide limited protection from the sun and some UV protection.Â
Category 2 -Â Category 2 lenses provide a medium level of sun glare reduction and good UV protection.
Category 3 -Â Category 3 lenses provide a high level of sun glare protection and good UV protection.
Category 4 -Â These are special purpose lenses that must not be used while driving at any time.
Most, if not all sunglasses sold by Just Sunnies are category 2 or 3 lenses.
