LENSES
VIEUX Eyewear is manufactured with high-quality lenses for exceptional clarity. Fitted with CR-39 lenses, a high-quality polycarbonate material, combined with custom anti-reflective coating to reduce eyestrain, VIEUX lenses are comfortable to look through with 100% UVA and UVB protection. VIEUX offer a range of coloured lenses suited to your personal preference and style.
LENS CATEGORIES
Category 0 - These lenses are classed as fashion spectacles and not sunglasses. They provide limited or no UV protection.
Category 1 - These are not classed as sunglasses. They do provide limited protection from the sun and some UV protection.
Category 2 - Category 2 lenses provide a medium level of sun glare reduction and good UV protection.
Category 3 - Category 3 lenses provide a high level of sun glare protection and good UV protection.
Category 4 - These are special purpose lenses that must not be used while driving at any time.

FRAMES
VIEUX sunglasses are crafted with high-quality material to ensure durability and resilience. VIEUX frames are made out of handmade HDCA acetate frames, the highest quality material in the sunglasses industry. Acetate provides a range of colour combinations while ensuring strength, flexibility and a lightweight, comfortable fit.
VIEUX metal frames are handmade silver-plated frames with custom forged line detail around the lenses. Metal is a high-quality material commonly used in sunglass manufacturing due to its strength and lightweight.
All VIEUX sunglasses are fitted with premium COMOTEC Italian engineered hinging and Bespoke Metal inlay XV in Temple Tips.
